Stone House

The Stone House is located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. The residence evokes the historic elegance of a bygone era. The house is properly proportioned with multiple gable forms and carefully detailed windows, doors and hardware. The material palette includes locally quarried stone cladding, slate roofing with classical copper flashing and gutters, and finely-used vernacular wood detailing. Beautifully designed stone walls outdoor living spaces help anchor the house in the pastoral landscape.

Carefully detailed historic woodworking and painting are used throughout to create an elegant and fitting interior to the residence. Coffered ceilings and period casework define the living spaces and a large swooping wooden staircase and bannister creates a stunning central entrance.
